I think it’s fair to say that 2022 was an interesting year and not always for the right reasons. As I sit and write this
Russia is still occupying Ukraine and the resulting energy crisis and inflation throughout the economy have caused
real challenges for sales across the UK retail landscape and beyond. I never cease to be amazed by the resilience of our
amazing retail partners and I promise that we will go the extra mile here at University Games to ensure that you get
the very best in product quality, availability and service from us and that we will work with you to ensure you maximise
both your sales and profitability in 2023.

When times get tough it becomes ever more important that companies live up to their corporate social responsibilities
and I am hugely proud of our team here that have organised and donated tens of thousands of pounds

to charities both at home and overseas. We have donated money which has helped fund solar lights in
some of the poorest countries in the world so that children can do schoolwork at home without using
dangerous kerosene lamps which cause significant fires and loss of life. Education is at the heart of what
we are about as a company and helping children to learn is one of the quickest ways to help them out of poverty. Closer
to home we have also donated to Crisis At Christmas to help the homeless in the UK and we will continue this good work
in 2023, as well as continuing to remove single use plastic from our games and puzzles.

Kickstarter sensation Forbidden Games we are delighted to launch this amazing range of strategy games into the
UK and Ireland. This range, led by Raccoon Tycoon, is already a mainstay of the US strategy game market and is a
proven seller across the world featuring detailed games play to keep the most demanding games enthusiast interested
whilst at the same time being quick to learn.

Our top selling murder mystery line also gets a refresh this year with new look packaging and, for the first time, a
game which includes interactive Artificial Intelligence content so players can “communicate” with agents in the field
as they try to complete the live mission in real time – look out for Mission: Black Hawk it is sure to cause a real stir.
